Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with the NHS to appoint a passionate and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join the Homeless Health Team in Haringey.

Length Of Contract – 3 month contract initially with view of extension

Team –  Haringey Homeless Health Team

Location –  St Anne’s Hospital,St Ann’s Rd, London N15 3TH

Working hours – Monday – Friday, 0900-1700

Start Date – ASAP Start

Rate of Pay – £26 p/h – Negotiable depending on experience

You will be responsible for –

  • Providing a responsive service that will identify mental and physical health problems.
  • Working in collaboration with other services to deliver care and interventions, based on clinical need, at the right time.
  • Providing interventions to support people to move off the streets and to facilitate them to sustain a more settled lifestyle.
  • Referring patients on to the most appropriate service and to support them until accepted.
  • Ensuring that all service users are registered with a GP.

    • About you –

  • Qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or other relevant discipline
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a mental health
  • Knowledge of current evidence-based interventions and treatments for mental health conditions
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
