Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with the NHS to appoint a passionate and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join the Homeless Health Team in Haringey.
Length Of Contract – 3 month contract initially with view of extension
Team – Haringey Homeless Health Team
Location – St Anne’s Hospital,St Ann’s Rd, London N15 3TH
Working hours – Monday – Friday, 0900-1700
Start Date – ASAP Start
Rate of Pay – £26 p/h – Negotiable depending on experience
You will be responsible for –
Providing a responsive service that will identify mental and physical health problems.
Working in collaboration with other services to deliver care and interventions, based on clinical need, at the right time.
Providing interventions to support people to move off the streets and to facilitate them to sustain a more settled lifestyle.
Referring patients on to the most appropriate service and to support them until accepted.
Ensuring that all service users are registered with a GP.
About you –
Qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or other relevant discipline
Current registration with the relevant professional body
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a mental health
Knowledge of current evidence-based interventions and treatments for mental health conditions
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
