Industrial Engineer

  • Foods manufacturer is hiring for an Industrial Engineer to lead the implementation of a new data analytics system for Operations
  • This is a newly created role and will be rolled out to all the plants nationwide with this role leading the project
  • The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, a natural leader who has excellent problem solving / analytical skills and has excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Responsibilities:

  • Train site personnel on data collection and analysis tools and techniques, including data collection software and real-time alert software
  • Create, maintain, and update training documents to ensure consistent and effective training across manufacturing sites
  • Ensure successful training to plant personnel
  • Support plant personnel in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data collection and analysis systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive operational improvements
  • Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to measure performance and progress
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on performance improvement initiatives
  • Develop and implement data collection and analysis strategies to improve performance
  • Develop and maintain data collection and analysis systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency

    • Requirements

  • BS/BA is required, ideally in engineering, statistics, Operations Management or related field
  • Experience in the foods, high-speed packaging or related industry is a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations and data analysis
  • Experience with data collection software and real-time alert software preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as needed
