My client is providing healthcare services for vulnerable people. Daily they work with asylum seekers, the homeless, and other marginalised people. They are looking for an experienced administrator with great interpersonal skills.

Your new role
The purpose of this multi-skilled role is to undertake a wide range of administrative duties as well as face-to-face and telephone interactions with patients and visitors, in our busy administration office and reception areas.
Daily responsibilities

  • Answering the telephone quickly and professionally
  • Booking appointments
  • Dealing with Patient queries
  • Ordering prescriptions
  • Dealing with external agencies
  • Scanning letters and filing them onto SystmOne
  • Registering patients on SystmOne
  • Using templates to enter data on SystmOne
  • Using tasks to relay information to the team
  • What you’ll need to succeed

  • Ability to organise own workload with direction
  • Ability to take instruction, direction and work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience of SystmOne, Template building, READ Codes (desirable)
  • Dealing with people with challenging behaviour
  • Dealing with difficult situations/ circumstances
  • Customer Service Experience – face to face and over the telephone
