Job Title: Data Centre Shift Engineer – Facilities (Electrical Qualified)

Location: Farnborough

Salary: £47,500 per annum

Working Hours: 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am (Continental Shifts)

Company Overview: My client are a leading provider of critical infrastructure solutions, specialising in data centre facilities management. They are seeking a number of a highly skilled and electrically qualified Shift Engineers to join their dynamic team. If you have experience in critical environments such as data centres or hospitals, and a strong background in electrical maintenance, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all maintenance tasks, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs), breakdowns, and reactive tasks.

Maintain and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS).

Conduct maintenance and inspections on generators, HVAC systems, and electrical infrastructure.

Ensure proper functioning of lighting and power systems.

Collaborate with the team to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical facilities.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Electrical qualification (NVQ or City and Guilds).

Ideally, experience working in critical environments, such as data centres or hospitals.

Ex-military personnel, including Navy, with relevant qualifications and experience, are encouraged to apply.

Strong electrical maintenance background.
