Location: Chesterfield – out in the community
Hours: 37.5 Hours
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday & Occasional Weekend – Varied shift pattern

Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a full-time Housing Support Worker, based in Chesterfield to work with service users who are at risk of homelessness. You will provide support to those who are in need, to try and access the appropriate benefits and help sustain their tenancy.
Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge
Passion and desire to help people who are struggling with their tenancy and are at risk of homelessness
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – ESSENTIAL
A DBS on the update service
Professional or personal experience working with young people or adults with learning disabilities or mental health
Transferable skills which could enable you to support vulnerable adults who are at risk of homelessness

1st Stage – Shortlisting & Pre-Screening
In the first stage I personally will review your CV. Should you be successful, I will invite you for a telephone call. We will have a telephone conversation to discuss your right to work, work history, and suitability for the role.
2nd Stage – Formal Interview
In this stage, you will have a formal interview with the hiring manager.
