Overview
You will provide a proactive and diligent support to different departments within the group in all aspects of admin support, with primary focus on HR and Finance admin support.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Finance Department Support:
- Checking supplier invoice coding and authorisation
- Inputting supplier invoices into Sun Accounting
- Setting up new suppliers
- Supplier reconciliations
- Dealing with queries from schools/colleges and suppliers
- Assisting with payment runs (BACS and on-line banking)
- Checking and input of company credit card expenses
- Checking and input of petty cash expenses
- Updating balance sheet Excel spread sheets
- Checking refund requests
- Filing various monthly Banking statements
- Maintaining refunds spreadsheet
HR Department Support:
- Arranging interviews for applicants
- Collating the paperwork relating to every applicant
- Working with successful applicants in supplying all compliance paperwork prior to their start date
- Filing of all HR items
- Working with college-based HR Officers to assist in other admin task where required
Group Admin Support:
- Diary management
- Working with local site management teams on compliance checklists
- Assisting remote teams when required
- Visas
- Admissions
- Sales
- Marketing
- IT
Qualifications and Experience
- You will have highly effective communication, organisation and planning skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to ability to work on effectively on your own initiative in a busy office environment.
- You should have Strong admin experience across multiple departments. Working in a school environment is beneficial but not essential
- You should have good Microsoft office skills and be system-focused with ability to pick up new systems quickly.
