About the team

The FIS Strategy and New Initiatives Transformation team is part of the Product Organization focused on Experience Design and Domain Mobilization. This team collaborates with product managers, product owners and other leaders to identify and document experiences, capabilities and domains to focus investment on target state Products. This customer-centric approach provides clients with the right set of strategic solutions to grow their business and allows FIS to focus investment into those same strategic solutions – reducing duplication and complexity. The breadth of Products spans Payments, Banking and many other growth solutions. Our team facilitates this domain mobilization effort across Product, Line of Business, Architecture and Tech/Dev.

What you will be doing

As a Domain Mobilization Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the alignment of Product’s solutions to target state and driving Domain mobilization. Support Product by translating strategy into a deliverable plan, launch and mobilize Domains with Tech/Dev stakeholders to ensure Domain ARTs implement the SDLC.

  • Coordinate the schedule for Domain mobilization, including working with Tech/Dev on their ART pivot to target state

  • Facilitate and document Domain interlock, mapping dependencies, driving Domain leads to ensure alignment across Domains

  • Responsible for governance and action log for Domain mobilization and holding teams accountable for their deliverables

  • Coordinate activities and tasks among team members to meet project goals and ensure completion is on schedule

  • Prepare status reporting, presentations, action logs and other artifacts to keep all stakeholders accountable and informed

What you bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Payments, Fintech and/or Banking with particular focus on coordinating activities across a matrix environment

  • Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines

  • Analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills

  • Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization

  • Demonstrated ability in documenting many facets of complex projects.
